Fascinating. I don't see myself victimized by Twitter or by the people arguing over which baby is in a picture. (I will get the whole quote, which made it clear that he was asking whether or not he should be upset, because he only cared about one side's babies. Not a simple clarification. It seemed too incendiary to quote while people are in pain.) But I will look at how my call for people to leave X may seem to be me complaining about being hurt. For me, it has more to do with the media environment generated by X, and whether it engenders our best styles of deliberation.

But I understand using the Middle East conflict as an example of one of the issues X may not be best capable of hosting may be too difficult at the present moment. It's influence is still strong, and may have something to do with making my writing look like either victimization or domination.

And it's fine if you're had enough Rushkoff for one lifetime, as well!
