Ha! That’s not Victorian? Dang. I will change it. I don’t know architecture, but read in an early 90’s GQ article that the place was Victorian.
I share your hope that VR can retrieve those early values. Indeed, we’re still in the early stage — like then TV used a locked off camera pointed at a stage. The overall framing was a bit more negative than I intended, and I still really do have hope. It’s only “most” VR that’s bullshit, at least. The emerging stuff may just be harbingers of the real deal.
