I was there at the beginning, and have been researching and working with the first developers in this space since before the Bitcoin protocols were even published. I'm still heavily involved in a dozen blockchain communities and efforts. Those original intentions were great. But now? The majority of people I know playing in this space are on exchanges, or developing meta protocols through which they want to get rich. It's a new generation of bankers.
