Right. I used the word "regime" to describe both Israeli and Gazan leadership - and I guess I *did* mean to be pejorative about both. But I guess it's truly their governments, since Hamas was elected by the people, and Netanyahu was chosen through an election-related process.

I guess I wanted to separate the people from these awful leaders. I keep thinking of Trump, who is anti-government but also a former president. But when he was president, he was our government - even if he intended to thwart or dismantle it.
