Right Just bad writing on my part. I was trying to explain the concern of Qanon and right wing extremists. Part of the logic they're using against what they see as the Democrat Establishment is to propose that there is a global conspiracy of politicians, media, and corporations that are painting a picture of climate catastrophe when none exists. The idea here (and I'm glad it hasn't reached you, truly!) is that there is a Deep State using propaganda to make people believe there is a climate catastrophe, when none actually exists.
