So we maintain a small, opposition party under authoritarianism? That’s certainly a possibility. Integrity of our party’s principles even under authoritarianism. I do see the strength in that position. I’m just thinking we do that from within a caucus. But maybe it wouldn't work and we may as well go down fighting.

I guess I was hoping against hope that there was some way to continue two-party engagement.

I suppose the other possibility is that we're simply watching the Right implode, and they won't really be able to enact what they are declaring. Maybe I'm not patient enough, but it looks like more pain and suffering ahead, a democratic minority, and a really difficult path forward.
