Yeah, I hear you. I have a lot on enhancement scenarios in future sections. The issue I keep coming up against is what are we enhancing *for*? In most cases, it’s to increase the utilitarian value of humans — rarely is it to extend the weirdness. Plus, we have to remember that digital enhancements are different. I’m not saying better or worse; just different. And until we fully understand what we are leaving behind (what can’t be quantized, and whether it’s important to us) we may not want to amputate anything.
